July 25, 2009 David Espinoza clocked a 1:05 the fastest kilo time at the Elite National Championship Qualifiers at Trexlertown Velodrome, PA, the quality of the video is very low, but you can still witness the high rate of speed this cyclist reached & maintained! This kid broke the US Junior kilo & still holds the record of 1:04 he is someone to keep your eyes on!

My 1st 500m ever
July 25, 2009 I headed out to Trexlertown Velodrome, PA, with my classic TI Raleigh 531 steel tubing track bike, no disc wheels or aero bars, just to see where I stand in the 500m TTT. my buddy Gil captured it on video. I was not feeling very healthy this summer & my time showed it, hopefully I will be healthier & faster next year?

Krebs Friday Night Bike Races on LI
Krebs Cycles on LI has weekly racing every friday night in Riverhead, this is a great training race. You have extremely tough racers like my cousin Joe Zaverdas & his son Christopher there. Well I decided to head out there with my buddy Gee Dagno (my 2nd road race in many years) & thanks to my buddy Dan, I got it on video!

I got in a break with 5 laps to go (only cause I had my cousin & his son blocking for me (lucky me), but due to the lack of road training/racing for so many years, my legs were cramping the whole time I was away, but I pushed myself to the limit... check it out!

My 1st season back racing after many years. I teamed up with Derrick Davis & Alex Marius Farioletti, this was the 1st team sprint I have ever done, thanks to my team mates, we got the silver medal!
